In the 7th match minute, Sao Brasola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Damm to maneuver through the defense. Olavo Velloso came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Sao Brasola's Cesare Punta. But to his dismay, Cesare Punta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Revolución Joao FC's Youssef Malek got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Asklöv in the 13th minute of play forced Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Asklöv came free, but Olavo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Bartoli in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nojus Barasa got free with Olavo Velloso in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute Sao Brasola were awarded a corner. Deng Jian Bing went to the cornerflag to take it. 25 minutes into the match, Sao Brasola's goal looked a bit too open when Youssef Malek came free, but Urbano Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zambrano Bravo made a great header on Revolución Joao FC's corner, it was just that Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin managed to reach the ball for a save. Urbano Saturnin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Youssef Malek in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Asklöv came free, but Olavo Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cuero Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Benjamin Kielland got a free kick in the 36th minute. Olavo Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Punta in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elia Di Vincenzo. 43 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesare Punta. Urbano Saturnin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youssef Malek, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Leandro Bartoli hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Punta in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Sao Brasola got a freekick which was hit by Lu Jian Feng. When Zambrano Bravo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Revolución Joao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zambrano Bravo couldn't finish the play. Revolución Joao FC's Olavo Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Punta in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Elia Di Vincenzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesare Punta, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes of play, Sao Brasola's Cesare Punta made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavo Velloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Revolución Joao FC made a substitution. Gavril Stoican replaced Youssef Malek. Revolución Joao FC's Azconzábal Morante was substituted for Keith Richards. Arthur Damm got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arthur Damm. After some careless play in the Sao Brasola defense, Gavril Stoican kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Urbano Saturnin. The Sao Brasola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Urbano Saturnin should have stopped the shot. Revolución Joao FC's Aguinaga Casasola was substituted for Leandro Bartoli. Sao Brasola's Urbano Saturnin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Sao Brasola from getting a goal against them. Olavo Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elia Di Vincenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Olavo Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Sao Brasola were the better team. Sao Brasola's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
