In the 8th minute Maximino Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Macias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tio Cosme FC's Damaso Ubelteso got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heigo Luiga in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yu Kun saved Tio Cosme FC from getting behind. Yu Kun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heigo Luiga's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Yu Kun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Basajaun in the 29th minute of play. After some careless play in the Tio Cosme FC defense, Heigo Luiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yu Kun. The Tio Cosme FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yu Kun should have stopped the shot. Heigo Luiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yu Kun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Yu Kun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Basajaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half C.A.Independiente were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heigo Luiga was the one to do the kick off. Ciriaco Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Oriol, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Ciriaco Macias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Oriol in the 58th minute of the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tio Cosme FC's goalkeeper Yu Kun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
