Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) 5 minutes into the game, Deportivo Messina's Rene Pierres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Bostan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Rene Pierres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rova Rosiori's Eugen Vuşcan got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Deportivo Messina's Rene Pierres made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Codruț Bostan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octav Baniciu in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuriy Babushkin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hector Jerardo succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Rene Pierres scored 0-4 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codruț Bostan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Pierres in the 33rd minute of play forced Rova Rosiori's goalkeeper Codruț Bostan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Postelnicescu hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Codruț Bostan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Ascencio in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Deportivo Messina's Rene Pierres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Bostan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Rova Rosiori's zone, Teodosio Ascencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codruț Bostan came out of the goal and Teodosio Ascencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codruț Bostan came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Messina's Teodosio Ascencio. But to his dismay, Teodosio Ascencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.

Deportivo Messina made a substitution. Gervasio Larra replaced Salvador Iztal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Ascencio to make the kick off. Luis Cordario scored 0-7 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codruț Bostan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eugen Vuşcan charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugen Vuşcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes Rova Rosiori got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Vuşcan. Codruț Bostan was a little too slow when Luis Cordario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-8. Codruț Bostan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Ascencio in the 61st minute of play. Domingo Jakue's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Codruț Bostan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 65th minute Deportivo Messina were awarded a corner. Domingo Jakue went to the cornerflag to take it. Codruț Bostan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvaro Perfecto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Codruț Bostan. That made the score 0-10 in the 72 minute of play. When Teodosio Ascencio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Deportivo Messina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Ascencio couldn't finish the play. Luis Cordario scored 0-11 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codruț Bostan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Perfecto in the 85th minute of play forced Rova Rosiori's goalkeeper Codruț Bostan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rova Rosiori's Codruț Bostan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Ascencio in the 88th minute of play. Hector Jerardo took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Bostan. Codruț Bostan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Jerardo got free with Codruț Bostan in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Perfecto in the 97th minute of play forced Rova Rosiori's goalkeeper Codruț Bostan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Messina played a much better game than Rova Rosiori and deserved their victory. The Rova Rosiori players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
