RB Chubut's Maximino Aimar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tytus Kajfasz in the 26 minute of the game. Isaac Mingo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomasz Piwko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. With a little luck, RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius got control of the ball when Mariusz Zgonina tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Gabríel Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Snaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Robert Vassenius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Zgonina in the 39th minute. Robert Vassenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomasz Gorski went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. KS Piastów Sosnowiec made a substitution. Boruc Magdziarz replaced Hieronim Winszman.
