Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gregorio Quintero started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, one of Cobresal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cobresal. When the match had been going on for 4 minutes, Nils Liedholm IF's Marc Juhlin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea. When Kalle Norström fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nils Liedholm IF's protests and gave Kalle Norström a yellow card for diving instead. Kalle Norström hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Scapini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Dino Scapini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 16 minutes into the game, Birger Kleen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nils Liedholm IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobresal the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Nils Liedholm IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Kleen to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Dino Scapini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ove Hake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Gaitano Valdovinos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ove Hake stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaitano Valdovinos's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ove Hake didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Quintero went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Ove Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Nils Liedholm IF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Birger Kleen hit a great ball. Gregorio Quintero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ove Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Gregorio Quintero kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The Nils Liedholm IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cobresal were winning 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Bjurström to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Nils Liedholm IF defense, Gregorio Quintero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Hake. The Nils Liedholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Hake should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Gaitano Valdovinos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. Gaitano Valdovinos took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Hake. Ove Hake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. The supporters of Cobresal booed when Nils Liedholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Norström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalle Norström hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Gaitano Valdovinos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Hake was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. Cobresal's Andolín Duvauchelle was substituted for Gaitano Valdovinos. Andolín Duvauchelle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ove Hake having to make a save. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 1-10 when Gregorio Quintero sped through Nils Liedholm IF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ove Hake. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Scapini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Dino Scapini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cobresal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-12.
