Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Cobresal's Gregorio Quintero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Nils Liedholm IF's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Scapini came free, but Ove Hake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ove Hake was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Octavio Bourchier. In the 9th minute, Cobresal's Gregorio Quintero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Gaitano Valdovinoss short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Ove Hake to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Gaitano Valdovinos in the 14th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Ove Hake kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. 20 minutes into the game, Cobresal's Dino Scapini nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ove Hake made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 33rd minute, Gaitano Valdovinos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Hake was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ove Hake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes, Harry Wennerquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nils Liedholm IF and the Cobresal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute Kalle Norström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jörgen Bjurström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ove Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Quintero in the 51st minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Jörgen Bjurström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cobresal's Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Bjurström in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Gaitano Valdovinos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Hake was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Ove Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaitano Valdovinos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Dino Scapini put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ove Hake. Cobresal's Kenny McCormick was substituted for Danilo Diaz de Valdes. Horacio Jesus Urruticoechea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Bjurström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Gaitano Valdovinos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ove Hake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cobresal made a substitution. Andolín Duvauchelle replaced Gaitano Valdovinos. Dino Scapini took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Hake. Ove Hake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Dino Scapini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ove Hake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dino Scapini in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cobresal fully deserved thier win.
