If Shekhar Biwott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorian de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, Adolfo Salvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian de Lima. Renegados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Salvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Adolfo Salvino put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Dorian de Lima. When Carlos Alberto Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Renegados's protests and gave Carlos Alberto Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Renegados's Carlos Alberto Fernandez got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Rothwell Park's Adolfo Salvino in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Renegados fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian de Lima should have stopped the shot. The Renegados players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rothwell Park were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romário Seco was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Adolfo Salvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian de Lima. Renegados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Salvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Dorian de Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Salvino in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Salvino in the 68th minute of play forced Renegados's goalkeeper Dorian de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Adolfo Salvino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dorian de Lima. Renegados's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Salvino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Rothwell Park made a substitution. Githinji Ntalami replaced Neymar Mané. Dorian de Lima was a little too slow when Adolfo Salvino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-10. In the 84th minute, Adolfo Salvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian de Lima was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Rothwell Park's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
