Julian Trzenzalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Bot, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Julian Trzenzalski came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Go Ahead Eagles's Erling Lewandowski. But to his dismay, Erling Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Julian Trzenzalski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Bot in the 16th minute of the match. Julian Trzenzalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Roman Rosen managed to get in a good position for a shot. KKS Magines's supporters rose to their feet, but Roman Rosen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafa Lojewski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, KKS Magines's Zbyszko Kiepski got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 39th minute, Erling Lewandowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, KKS Magines's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Bot came free, but Julian Trzenzalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vural Akyol fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Go Ahead Eagles's protests and gave Vural Akyol a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vural Akyol to maneuver through the defense. Julian Trzenzalski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Facundo Bot went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Eneko to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erling Lewandowski in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Trzenzalski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, KKS Magines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Kiepski to maneuver through the defense. Julian Trzenzalski was a little too slow when Facundo Bot got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. Julian Trzenzalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Bot, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Julian Trzenzalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Bot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Go Ahead Eagles made a substitution. Panos Karagoutis replaced Grigore Mălaimare. Go Ahead Eagles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cássio Gonçalves in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldemar Markowski in the 73rd minute of play forced Go Ahead Eagles's goalkeeper Rafa Lojewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Trzenzalski made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Iustin Bâru sent off a good shot on target. KKS Magines made a substitution. Tobiasz Zbytniewski replaced Stefan Rukszcz. Iustin Bâru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Julian Trzenzalski made a huge save. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Vural Akyol hit a great ball. The supporters of KKS Magines booed when Go Ahead Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Amorebieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. KKS Magines's Julian Trzenzalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Bot in the 95th minute of play. Julian Trzenzalski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iustin Bâru went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. When the final whistle sounded Go Ahead Eagles left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KKS Magines.
