Avraam Bourbos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claus Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algitas Jokubaitis in the 13th minute of play. The Gondor FC™ fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Gondor FC™'s Mino Suarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Claus Himschoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Pihlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Avraam Bourbos made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Kuido Suursaar sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gondor FC™ booed when PomeziaRamblers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Florian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claus Himschoot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algitas Jokubaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claus Himschoot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Suarez in the 35th minute of the match. The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Gondor FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aca Gvozdić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gondor FC™'s Avraam Bourbos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Gondor FC™ from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Scibilia got free with Avraam Bourbos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Gondor FC™'s Nerkez Arriagada got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mino Suarez made a kick off. Edgar Pihlberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Claus Himschoot could save by the left post. Gondor FC™'s Ntinos Trachanas was substituted for Thomas Rogne. In the 59th match minute, PomeziaRamblers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuido Suursaar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of PomeziaRamblers booed when Gondor FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Trachanas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mino Suarez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Claus Himschoot made a huge save. In the 72nd minute of the match, Mino Suarez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claus Himschoot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 74th minute Adalberto Ecija shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claus Himschoot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Saša Daničić could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Claus Himschoot however easily saved by the left post. Gondor FC™'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
