The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofilo Kelemen got free with Adrianus Tambunan in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Martin Theodore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Ledesma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 minutes CAM Football Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Honorato Zambujal who took care of the corner kick. Putra Rewulu's Honorato Zambujal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Martin Theodore in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adjat Inzaghi in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Theodore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Putra Rewulu booed when CAM Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Frasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hu Jie Rong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrianus Tambunan made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Arnaldo Idacio sent off a good shot on target. After 18 played minutes Putra Rewulu got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zonta. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Putra Rewulu from getting a goal against them. Arnaldo Idacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Adrianus Tambunan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Idacio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Adrianus Tambunan 29 minutes into the match. Adrianus Tambunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Marquez in the 35th minute of the match. Adrianus Tambunan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Marquez in the 37th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hu Jie Rong to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Adjat Inzaghi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Theodore. CAM Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adjat Inzaghi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Idacio in the 55th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, CAM Football Club's goalkeeper Martin Theodore had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Ledesma. Adrianus Tambunan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 79th minute, Diego Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Kelemen came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Izel in the 88th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
