In the 8th minute, Fillos de Breogán's Orti Sánchez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Taisto Pentsinen in the 11th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Taisto Pentsinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Garibaldo Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 14th minute of the match. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orti Sánchez in the 19th minute of play. Edwin van der Sar had great luck who in the 19thth minute grab hold of the ball when Orti Sánchez from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Garibaldo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Kuoppala in the 21st minute of play. Orti Sánchez came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edwin van der Sar could save by the left post. Manchester United FC's attentive Valdemar Kuoppala managed to snatch the ball when Waldemar Olszewski made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. 28 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Augusto Mandrak. After 29 played minutes Fillos de Breogán got a freekick which was hit by Yağızalp Ulaş. In the 33rd match minute, Manchester United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Laulaja to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's Xinto Palencia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Garibaldo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taisto Pentsinen in the 38th minute of play. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eero Uusipaavalniemi in the 46th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Eero Uusipaavalniemi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Garibaldo Quijana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orti Sánchez to make the kick off. Eero Uusipaavalniemi didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 51st minute. Manchester United FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Garibaldo Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Cantona in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Valdemar Kuoppala notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana. Garibaldo Quijana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manchester United FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
