But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrice Sénéchal couldn't finish the play. Karl Touzard's late challenge caught a SUPERSTAR - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 87th match minute, SUPERSTAR - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Ruben Bénier in the 88th minute really tested Wellington Donatello's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Wellington Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrice Sénéchal, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Saint Côme de Fresné's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
