Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lincoln Hand started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes S.D. Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Petrigai Solanos. After recieving a nice pass, EDI MZB's Ma Lang Liang tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tao Li Zhen got a throw-in 8 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dennis Roelfs. After 9 played minutes EDI MZB got a freekick which was hit by Hortêncio Mandrak. After some careless play in the S.D. Bajen defense, Hortêncio Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duke Munoz. The S.D. Bajen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duke Munoz should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Baldwin came free, but Osvaldo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match Claudinei Ramalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 21st minute of the match EDI MZB got a corner. S.D. Bajen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ma Lang Liang ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dennis Roelfs got free with Duke Munoz in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lincoln Hand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Petrigai Solanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duke Munoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Lang Liang in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lincoln Hand in the 29th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.D. Bajen's goalkeeper Duke Munoz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Osvaldo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lincoln Hand in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lincoln Hand in the 44th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hortêncio Mandrak made a kick off. In the 59th minute Dennis Roelfs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duke Munoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, EDI MZB's Osvaldo Neto got control of the ball when Lincoln Hand tried to sneak it across the goal line. Duke Munoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Mandrak in the 66th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
