Erik Pihlblad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serdar Gulson, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a little luck, FC Lëtzebuerg's Loïc Payen got control of the ball when Alvarez Håland tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Xu Lin Jie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lëtzebuerg the free kick. In the 21st minute, Xu Lin Jie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serdar Gulson might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Pihlblad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serdar Gulson ran back to his position shaking his head. Serdar Gulson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erik Pihlblad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Serdar Gulson came free, but Erik Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Ekaitz to maneuver through the defense. When Xu Lin Jie was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Xu Lin Jie got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 51st minute of the match, Serdar Gulson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Pihlblad saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 55 played minutes Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Anier Ekaitz. Serdar Gulson scored 0-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erik Pihlblad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anier Ekaitz hit a great ball. Loïc Payen came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Andres Guerau. But to his dismay, Andres Guerau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Serdar Gulson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's Erik Pihlblad got control of the ball when Severo Damario tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marouane Rocchi came free, but Erik Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Ekaitz charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anier Ekaitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Anier Ekaitz. Erik Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serdar Gulson in the 85th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Andres Guerau. The supporters of FC Lëtzebuerg booed when Ipro Demiga Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Guerau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qiu Xi Wen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Pihlblad having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Lëtzebuerg players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
