The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Arkadiusz Barciniak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Hägele's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koti Kot in the 5th minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Jerzy Mielak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Hägele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arkadiusz Barciniak having to make a save. Arkadiusz Barciniak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Hägele, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Konrad Resel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esteban Dreer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some careless play in the GALACTICOS defense, Koti Kot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Dreer. The GALACTICOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Dreer should have stopped the shot. Esteban Dreer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koti Kot went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Esteban Dreer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kudret Tüzer in the 33rd minute of play. Esteban Dreer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kudret Tüzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koti Kot in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Arkadiusz Barciniak got control of the ball when José Mora tried to sneak it across the goal line. The GALACTICOS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thunderstorm Riders were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koti Kot to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konrad Resel in the 51st minute of play forced GALACTICOS's goalkeeper Esteban Dreer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Dreer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Mielak in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Mielak in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Dreer saved GALACTICOS from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Jerzy Mielak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Dreer was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 55thth minute of the game Jerzy Mielak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Witold Glapiak made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Konrad Resel immediately put the ball in play. Esteban Dreer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kudret Tüzer in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, GALACTICOS's Alfredo Palos got a free kick in the 60th minute. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. Daniel Houseman replaced Kudret Tüzer. Alfredo Palos hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Thunderstorm Riders booed when GALACTICOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erk Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save GALACTICOS from getting a goal against them. Thunderstorm Riders were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after GALACTICOS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerzy Mielak took the corner. Esteban Dreer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koti Kot in the 68th minute of the match. Witold Glapiak made in the 70th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Konrad Resel however managed to control. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Houseman in the 74th minute of play. Jerzy Mielak hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save GALACTICOS from getting a goal against them. After 81st play minutes Daniel Houseman shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Esteban Dreer and just under the crossbar into goal. GALACTICOS's Esteban Dreer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Houseman in the 88th minute of play. Daniel Houseman took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Dreer. Esteban Dreer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The GALACTICOS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Thunderstorm Riders's performance. The match ended with a win for Thunderstorm Riders.
