Jelmer Waard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piero Quispe's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Jelmer Waard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Favila Villaren, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When Piero Quispe came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Nova Soccer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piero Quispe couldn't finish the play. If Robert Dobbertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maurilio Duque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Dobbertin in the 34th minute. The wind increased when Robert Dobbertin made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Nova Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Dobbertin came free, but Maurilio Duque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piero Quispe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jelmer Waard firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nova Soccer's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
