But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. Haydar İsmet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Eate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lauro Moreira made a kick off. Qaryağdı Älibalalı kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Lauro Moreira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zengezur's Brimar Theódórsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lauro Moreira in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brimar Theódórsson saved Zengezur from getting behind. When Tofiq Zülfüqarov fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zengezur's protests and gave Tofiq Zülfüqarov a yellow card for diving instead. Tofiq Zülfüqarov kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Serafin Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şahin Ağankäri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rövşän Äliyev charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rövşän Äliyev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zengezur getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. After taking down the ball on Club Atletico Chusca's corner 贺皓扬 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brimar Theódórsson quite easily take care of the ball. Aristides Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Lauro Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Lauro Moreira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brimar Theódórsson was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 89 minutes into the game, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
