Koray Tibet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Ersen Bumba when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tansu Erdursun in the 9th minute of play forced Çanakkale's goalkeeper Ferdi Kargin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Çanakkale got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Kemal Oncu. Tansu İdrisoğlu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Koray Tibet notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of ☆BumbAAlacati☆'s Ersen Bumba. Ersen Bumba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Üzeyir Somer lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Çanakkale's Ali Haydar Uçkun got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Çanakkale's Halil Baytekin got a free kick in the 40th minute. Ersen Bumba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mansur Başel in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koray Tibet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Çanakkale fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Çanakkale's Koray Tibet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Tansu Erdursun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, ☆BumbAAlacati☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tansu Erdursun to maneuver through the defense. Çanakkale's Ant Nevzat got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Tansu Erdursun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
