Toader Pădureanu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 3 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Alinborger fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! In the 5th minute there was a penalty for POLI TIMISOARA. Nicu Nichitelea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tadeu Moraes. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Filip Buculeasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 14 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Nichitelea came free, but Tadeu Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Alinborger's Mădălin Ignat quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vintilă Iftode, made in the 17th minute of the game. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Yi Xi in the 19th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Nicu Nichitelea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Cosmin Harbuz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeu Moraes. FC Alinborger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosmin Harbuz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Tadeu Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Mihăescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Bîlbă hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Mei Yi Xi put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Tadeu Moraes. After some careless play in the FC Alinborger defense, Nicu Nichitelea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeu Moraes. The FC Alinborger fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeu Moraes should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Nicu Nichitelea notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes. Tadeu Moraes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mei Yi Xi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Mei Yi Xi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tadeu Moraes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 54 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's goalkeeper Tadeu Moraes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosmin Harbuz. Cosmin Harbuz scored 0-8 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeu Moraes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tadeu Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mei Yi Xi in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, POLI TIMISOARA's Mei Yi Xi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeu Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Tadeu Moraes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 66th minute, Mei Yi Xi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeu Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. 74 minutes into the match, FC Alinborger's Angel Veronica sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihai Domuță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Nichitelea in the 75th minute of play. Mihai Domuță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Veronica in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, FC Alinborger's Angel Veronica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihai Domuță made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. In the 85thth minute of the game Nicu Nichitelea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Alinborger's Tadeu Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vintilă Iftode made in the 88th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Cosmin Harbuz however managed to control. FC Alinborger's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nicu Nichitelea 89 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-12. Tadeu Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicu Nichitelea in the 95th minute of the match. POLI TIMISOARA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
