Jânio Furlan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evstati Chomakov got free with Jânio Furlan in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute Tiago Gabriel Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simamane Cassim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roland Dresik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Furlan having to interfere. The supporters of Guará FC booed when Iskra Łódź was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Lepucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldão Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Simamane Cassim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio Furlan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Denizhan Hakyemez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Simamane Cassim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Gabriel Vieira in the 23rd minute of the match. Roman Nocny charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roman Nocny the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Iskra Łódź got a freekick which was hit by Roman Nocny. Jânio Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denizhan Hakyemez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Iskra Łódź's zone, Ronaldão Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simamane Cassim came out of the goal and Ronaldão Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Iskra Łódź's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldão Paulista came free, but Simamane Cassim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guará FC's Jânio Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Dresik in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denizhan Hakyemez in the 38th minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Jânio Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guará FC's zone, Roland Dresik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jânio Furlan came out of the goal and Roland Dresik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Guará FC booed when Iskra Łódź was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Lepucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Gabriel Vieira to make the kick off. Jânio Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denizhan Hakyemez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Zé Pedro Baiano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Evstati Chomakov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Furlan having to interfere. Simamane Cassim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Dresik in the 75th minute of play forced Guará FC's goalkeeper Jânio Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Tiago Gabriel Vieira could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Simamane Cassim however easily saved by the left post. Roland Dresik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Furlan having to interfere. Iskra Łódź's Emil Koprowski was substituted for Roland Dresik. In the 89th minute of the match, Tiago Gabriel Vieira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Simamane Cassim was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 90th minute of the match Evstati Chomakov shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jânio Furlan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Simamane Cassim made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Vieira sent off a good shot on target. After 97 minutes Iskra Łódź's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiago Gabriel Vieira who took care of the corner kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Iskra Łódź had played much better football throughout.
