The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the game, NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddy Tilens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi got control of the ball when Axel Davus tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's Axel Davus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciccio Tacconi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciccio Tacconi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Davus went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the KFC Paal-Tervant defense, 盛世 高文竞 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freddy Tilens. The KFC Paal-Tervant fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freddy Tilens should have stopped the shot. The throw-in from Ted Jansen in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KFC Paal-Tervant's Yücel Yamaç. Ciccio Tacconi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Davus in the 29th minute. Axel Davus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Ciccio Tacconi made a huge save. Axel Davus in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciccio Tacconi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Jansen in the 38th minute of play forced KFC Paal-Tervant's goalkeeper Freddy Tilens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes NFC Eagles 22 got a freekick which was hit by Ted Jansen. With a little luck, NFC Eagles 22's Ciccio Tacconi got control of the ball when Axel Davus tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 42 minutes NFC Eagles 22's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yücel Yamaç who took care of the corner kick. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 盛世 高文竞 made a kick off. NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞 got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, KFC Paal-Tervant's Yücel Yamaç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciccio Tacconi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, NFC Eagles 22's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Davus came free, but Ciccio Tacconi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciccio Tacconi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Davus in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Laurens Knol threw the ball into play from the sideline. KFC Paal-Tervant's Jacq de Neutere quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 70th minute, Axel Davus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciccio Tacconi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. The supporters of NFC Eagles 22 booed when KFC Paal-Tervant was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Davus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddy Tilens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 盛世 高文竞 went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Ciccio Tacconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Davus in the 82nd minute of the match. Axel Davus scored 3-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciccio Tacconi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Freddy Tilens made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when 盛世 高文竞 sent off a good shot on target. NFC Eagles 22's 盛世 高文竞 got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Tilens made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when 盛世 高文竞 sent off a good shot on target. 95 minutes into the match, Axel Davus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciccio Tacconi. NFC Eagles 22's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Davus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KFC Paal-Tervant had won after a very even match.
