Tomas Cordaryal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Linhares took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Barrientos. Basilio Barrientos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the USS Enterprise defense, Gabriele Batistuta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Basilio Barrientos. The USS Enterprise fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basilio Barrientos should have stopped the shot. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abdoulay Doucouré in the 53rd minute. Julien Klopp thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Basilio Barrientos, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 0-8. In the 57th minute, Gabriele Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes in the game Bobby Lück did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jérôme Schmit.
