Saul House hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Thiago Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL LOBO DE MIAMI the free kick. Telmo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giuseppe Conway in the 11th minute of play. Osvaldo Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Lima in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marshall Medina got free with Telmo de Amorim in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven Herling made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Honorio Efraim immediately put the ball in play. Telmo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshall Medina in the 18th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Telmo de Amorim. That made the score 1-0 after 20 minutes of play. Osvaldo Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Almeida in the 27th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Telmo de Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. EL LOBO DE MIAMI were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Sport Club Mavericks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marshall Medina took the corner. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Telmo de Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 36 minutes Sport Club Mavericks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marshall Medina who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on EL LOBO DE MIAMI's corner Marshall Medina fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Telmo de Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. When Virgil Caudill fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL LOBO DE MIAMI's protests and gave Virgil Caudill a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Caudill to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in EL LOBO DE MIAMI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Sport Club Mavericks. Osvaldo Daunte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Sport Club Mavericks were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marshall Medina made a kick off. When Marshall Medina came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the EL LOBO DE MIAMI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marshall Medina couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute of the match, Luizão Lima tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Osvaldo Daunte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Gustavo Lyons was substituted for Virgil Caudill. Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Luo Chuan replaced Ong Mathews. Sport Club Mavericks's Dani Alves was substituted for Serginho Quirino. Telmo de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshall Medina in the 73rd minute of play. Telmo de Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telmo de Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marshall Medina's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Marshall Medina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Marshall Medina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Telmo de Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 91st match minute, EL LOBO DE MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Lyons to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Marshall Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of EL LOBO DE MIAMI booed when Sport Club Mavericks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Gustavo Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. EL LOBO DE MIAMI were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Sport Club Mavericks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marshall Medina took the corner. The corner ended in Gordie Mosquera almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim did a great save. Sport Club Mavericks succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though EL LOBO DE MIAMI had controlled the match.
