Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marshall Medina to make the kick off. EL LOBO DE MIAMI's Marshall Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Van Der Burg charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilberto Van Der Burg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Someliéri players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
