With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Banaszak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Fliz in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Buzău's goalkeeper Gheorghe Baldovin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Fábio Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Baldovin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s Iwan Banaszak got control of the ball when Marius Bunoaică tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Buzău's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonard Aanuţei in the 30th minute. A nice corner shot did that Augustin Cernat got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iwan Banaszak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gheorghe Baldovin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Fliz in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Cecilio Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gheorghe Baldovin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dário Barral to strike the kick off in the second half. Gheorghe Baldovin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Messias in the 51st minute of play. Iwan Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Arjoca in the 56th minute of play. Gheorghe Baldovin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zebastian Hurtig in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Cătălin Arjoca sped through £øs ρєłαdєirøs ®™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iwan Banaszak. FC Buzău's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
