The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Emiliano Nardo got a free kick in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Dobre Jest's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jean Van Damme was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Damian Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Słodkie Cytryny's Damian Ruszkowski got control of the ball when Gustavo Birila tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emiliano Nardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damian Ruszkowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Damian Ruszkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 38th minute of the match. If Gustavo Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Emiliano Nardo got a free kick in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Birila to make the kick off. Gustavo Birila kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Damian Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zosimo Vadillo in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Olgierd Chrobak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Słodkie Cytryny's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papillon AC the free kick. Olgierd Chrobak hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Słodkie Cytryny's Damian Ruszkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme got control of the ball when Jacek Wasikowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacek Wasikowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jean Van Damme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Słodkie Cytryny's goal looked a bit too open when Zosimo Vadillo came free, but Damian Ruszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobre Jest's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jean Van Damme firmly grabbed it by the left post. 74 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goalkeeper Jean Van Damme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dobre Jest. In the 76th minute, Zosimo Vadillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Papillon AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Papillon AC's Astor Chinto was substituted for Emiliano Nardo. Damian Ruszkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Birila, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Zosimo Vadillo scored 3-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Ruszkowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
