Jeremias Ribeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Mallecots in the 9th minute of play forced Burukster's goalkeeper Jeremias Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 minutes Burukster's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rafet Şikel who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sean Mallecots almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Burukster's Jeremias Ribeiro did a great save. If Emmanuel Hylen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Sean Mallecots managed to get in a good position for a shot. Invictus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean Mallecots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Sean Mallecots had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Ribeiro. Burukster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sean Mallecots was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 24th minute of the match, Matheus Nascimento tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eddy Stoorms saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sean Mallecots blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Ribeiro having to make a save. Burukster's Jeremias Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Mallecots in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute Matheus Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eddy Stoorms saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Sean Mallecots left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Invictus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Ludomir Karanewski fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Burukster's protests and gave Ludomir Karanewski a yellow card for diving instead. If Sean Mallecots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jorge Bitxintxo made a kick off. Válbson Soeiro got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Matheus Nascimento. Jeremias Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sean Mallecots in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sean Mallecots got free with Jeremias Ribeiro in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sean Mallecots had several of the Burukster's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Jeremias Ribeiro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sean Mallecots received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jeremias Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Rafet Şikel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Invictus FC made a substitution. Qian Yu Ao replaced Octaaf Van der Meiren. In the 79th minute, Luís Fábio Araújo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Burukster fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. Invictus FC's Rafet Şikel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremias Ribeiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sean Mallecots might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sean Mallecots ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 94th minute Sean Mallecots shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Matheus Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddy Stoorms was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-6.
