With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivo Guterres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Lino Rios sped through SC Freiburg 09's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivo Guterres. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Leal in the 11th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Rios kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivo Guterres. That made the score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. With a little luck, SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres got control of the ball when Lino Rios tried to sneak it across the goal line. AFC FUSION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Beckham in the 18th minute. The corner led AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivo Guterres despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC FUSION's attentive Jonatan Maidana managed to snatch the ball when Máximo Lameiras made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Ivo Guterres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Rios in the 25th minute. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Leal in the 27th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Rios. In the 47th minute Lino Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Guterres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Leal to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Ivo Guterres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Bragança, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Nuno Bragança shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Lino Rios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivo Guterres was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ivo Guterres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Rios in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Lino Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Roberto Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Abílio Passos sent off a good shot on target. Ivo Guterres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rios in the 69th minute of play. Lino Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Guterres having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Leal in the 71st minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham got a free kick in the 77th minute. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Christoff Stocks replaced Lino Rios. AFC FUSION's Aureliano Arnau was substituted for Jan Hop. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Dawid Beckham hit a great ball. Ivo Guterres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoff Stocks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AFC FUSION made a substitution. Kai Havertz replaced Dawid Beckham. Christoff Stocks took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Guterres. Ivo Guterres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. SC Freiburg 09's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
