In the 16th match minute, Vorwärts Lübeck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Myrvang to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Casero to strike the kick off in the second half. Ilie Buhuș made a great header on VIP's corner, it was just that Vorwärts Lübeck's Abubakar Noach managed to reach the ball for a save. Abubakar Noach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Coșereanu in the 55th minute of the match. Dumitru Berca made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Severino Casero sent off a good shot on target. When Marek Tomporowski came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vorwärts Lübeck fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Tomporowski couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Dobri Karapetrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abubakar Noach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Berca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eberhard Kobe in the 64th minute of play. VIP's Dumitru Berca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save VIP from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldo Gawletta got free with Dumitru Berca in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 72 minutes into the match, VIP's goalkeeper Dumitru Berca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Casero. Dumitru Berca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Ortzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Marek Tomporowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Berca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilie Buhuș went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led VIP's Ilie Buhuș to fire away a dangerous shot which Abubakar Noach despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dumitru Berca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eberhard Kobe in the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ştefan Coșereanu during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to VIP getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ştefan Coșereanu hit a great ball. Severino Casero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Dumitru Berca made a huge save. Marek Tomporowski charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marek Tomporowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of VIP booed when Vorwärts Lübeck was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marek Tomporowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Vorwärts Lübeck walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
