Ciro Gombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Club Atletico Talleres's Ciro Gombal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Talleres from getting a goal against them. Dimitrie Sluis kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Artur Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Gombal having to interfere. Artur Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Ciro Gombal made a huge save. If Artur Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Carballeira kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the game Dimitrie Sluis made a throw-in which John Gallagher played forward. In the 29th minute, Romano Vallejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Reis in the 31st minute of play forced Club Atletico Talleres's goalkeeper Ciro Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarracino De la Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Gallagher in the 32nd minute of the match. If Artur Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ciro Gombal was a little too slow when Artur Reis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

54 minutes into the game, Artur Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ciro Gombal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 59 played minutes Cebollas got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Tilk. Artur Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Club Atletico Talleres's Ciro Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Reis in the 63rd minute of play. If Artur Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cebollas's Michel Ponce De Leon was substituted for Matthias Tilk. Club Atletico Talleres's Ciro Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Ponce De Leon in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Talleres defense, Michel Ponce De Leon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Gombal. The Club Atletico Talleres fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Gombal should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artur Reis in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Gombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Michel Ponce De Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Gombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Reis in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Artur Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Gombal was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Ciro Gombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Ponce De Leon in the 85th minute of play. If Artur Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. Cebollas's Michel Ponce De Leon got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Club Atletico Talleres players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cebollas.
