In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by VfL Wolfsburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mirko Stuijvenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time ASC South United's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Mirko Stuijvenberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olle Tunander quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 25 minutes into the match, Gösta Granberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erwin Teesing. ASC South United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gösta Granberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 28 minutes, Gösta Granberg made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gösta Granberg succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. In the 37th minute Gösta Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Teesing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 62 minutes on the clock, Wesley Eringa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of ASC South United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VfL Wolfsburg:s goal. In the 65th minute there was a penalty for VfL Wolfsburg. Gösta Granberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Erwin Teesing. 7-0. Erwin Teesing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Granberg's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Ström in the 68th minute of play. When Hugo Bender fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ASC South United's protests and gave Hugo Bender a yellow card for diving instead. Erwin Teesing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Ström in the 74th minute of the match. Olle Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Tamminga, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Hannes Ström notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of ASC South United's Erwin Teesing. Erwin Teesing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 87 minutes into the game, ASC South United's Andreas Tamminga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
