ASC South United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 10 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erwin Teesing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match Rega Merida CF got a corner. ASC South United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Umbruso ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rega Merida CF's corner Elpidio Umbruso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Erwin Teesing quite easily take care of the ball. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind ASC South United's goalkeeper Erwin Teesing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erwin Teesing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Sârban's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Andreas Tamminga charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Tamminga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Nistor Sârban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwin Teesing was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 29th minute, Nistor Sârban got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erwin Teesing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hugo Bender in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Konstanty Wawro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 42 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Sârban came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nistor Sârban came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Rega Merida CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nistor Sârban couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Bender was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ersen Durmus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nistor Sârban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erwin Teesing having to make a save. Erwin Teesing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Sârban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Nistor Sârban made a precise shot to the right of Erwin Teesing. ASC South United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 62nd play minute Nistor Sârban came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Erwin Teesing. 0-3. 65 minutes into the game, Nistor Sârban recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erwin Teesing. Nistor Sârban showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After having played for 71 minutes, Abdulhamit Beycan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rega Merida CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdulhamit Beycan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 played minutes ASC South United got a freekick which was hit by Dirk van Dessel. In the 76th match minute, Rega Merida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Matela to maneuver through the defense. ASC South United's Erwin Teesing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Knopek in the 82nd minute of play. Abdulhamit Beycan's late challenge caught a ASC South United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abdulhamit Beycan helped the player get up and apologised. Abdulhamit Beycan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, ASC South United's Taco Scholte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstanty Wawro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Konrad Knopek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwin Teesing was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Konrad Knopek succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 90th playminute. Erwin Teesing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konrad Knopek in the 93rd minute. Konrad Knopek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Erwin Teesing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Rega Merida CF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ASC South United throughout the match.
