Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hannes Ström took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olle Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VfL Wolfsburg's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Sârban in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olle Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olle Tunander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nistor Sârban's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Nistor Sârban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VfL Wolfsburg's goalie prevented a goal. Rega Merida CF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elpidio Umbruso in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute Gösta Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Wawro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Rega Merida CF got a corner. VfL Wolfsburg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Umbruso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Konstanty Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Granberg in the 26th minute of play. Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Nistor Sârban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rega Merida CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Nistor Sârban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olle Tunander. VfL Wolfsburg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nistor Sârban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Konstanty Wawro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hannes Ström in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Nistor Sârban notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of VfL Wolfsburg's Olle Tunander. Olle Tunander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olle Tunander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nistor Sârban went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Nistor Sârban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Tunander having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nistor Sârban made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Nistor Sârban made a precise shot to the right of Olle Tunander. VfL Wolfsburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Konstanty Wawro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Albom in the 57th minute of the match. Nistor Sârban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olle Tunander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Nistor Sârban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. 66 minutes into the game, one of VfL Wolfsburg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Olle Tunander had in the 66thth minute some difficulties stopping Nistor Sârban's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rega Merida CF's La Piszczek was substituted for Yaroslav Svitlychnyi. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Damazy Warka replaced Karol Swiderski. After 70 played minutes VfL Wolfsburg got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Fanström. In the 72nd minute Konrad Knopek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olle Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to VfL Wolfsburg getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Bertil Fanström hit a great ball. If Konrad Knopek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Rega Merida CF's Konrad Knopek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olle Tunander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the VfL Wolfsburg defense, Konrad Knopek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olle Tunander. The VfL Wolfsburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olle Tunander should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Knopek in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olle Tunander saved VfL Wolfsburg from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Konrad Knopek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olle Tunander was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Abdulhamit Beycan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Olle Tunander made a huge save. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind VfL Wolfsburg's goalkeeper Olle Tunander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
