The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guo Zhou Feng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Eliazar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Fútbol Club Insaar's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Melo came free, but Musa Kelim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 11 minutes, Guo Zhou Feng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fútbol Club Insaar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guo Zhou Feng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guo Zhou Feng in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Kenya's goal looked a bit too open when Pes Villarias came free, but Maximiliano Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match Fútbol Club Insaar got a corner. Kenya's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pes Villarias ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pes Villarias made a great header on Fútbol Club Insaar's corner, it was just that Kenya's Maximiliano Eliazar managed to reach the ball for a save. If Paco Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guo Zhou Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fútbol Club Insaar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pes Villarias in the 35th minute. The corner led Fútbol Club Insaar's Pes Villarias to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximiliano Eliazar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Pes Villarias led 35 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Kenya's Maximiliano Eliazar became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. Kenya's Maximiliano Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guo Zhou Feng in the 37th minute of play. Caitano Fuentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd match minute, Fútbol Club Insaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Pereira to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Fútbol Club Insaar got a freekick which was hit by Peter Cardeños. The supporters of Kenya booed when Fútbol Club Insaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponciano Lebron didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Fútbol Club Insaar's Musa Kelim got control of the ball when Ezequiel Locaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Kenya players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fútbol Club Insaar were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guo Zhou Feng made a kick off. A collision led to Fútbol Club Insaar getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Pes Villarias hit a great ball. Fútbol Club Insaar's Oriol Mendaña got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Fútbol Club Insaar's Maximiliano Eliazar threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guo Zhou Feng, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paco Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenya made a substitution. Venancio Urti replaced Ermegildo Ibon. After 77 minutes, Caitano Fuentes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fútbol Club Insaar and the Kenya players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fútbol Club Insaar's Caitano Fuentes got a free kick in the 77th minute. Kenya made a substitution. Cecilio Dantae replaced Paco Melo. Kenya's Cleto Duarte was substituted for Marco Tardelli. After a rather tough play, Kenya's Alekos Rallis got a free kick in the 84th minute. Guo Zhou Feng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Eliazar having to interfere. Musa Kelim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Dantae's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The Fútbol Club Insaar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
