Aristide Traianescu took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christoffer Modig. Christoffer Modig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Felo in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Deuce Athletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Jonasson came free, but Leopoldo Ospin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopoldo Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Holm in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jörn Holm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Ospin was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Oakcroft Thrashers were awarded a corner. Harry Ekeberg went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 22nd minute Anders Andersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Ospin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörn Holm, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörn Holm to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Jörn Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Andersson kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Deuce Athletic Club's Christoffer Modig threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Segundo Felo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 68th minute, Jörn Holm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Oakcroft Thrashers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Deuce Athletic Club's Federico Aimar got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Oakcroft Thrashers's Jörn Holm in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. For all the effort they put into the match, the Deuce Athletic Club players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oakcroft Thrashers.
