The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kristen Krasmer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Dracena in the 3rd minute. In the 13th minute Ataol Toprak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Hvam FC's Kristen Krasmer got control of the ball when Fernando Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kristen Krasmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Nafiz Özilter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristen Krasmer having to make a save. The supporters of Bornova booed when Hvam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stephan Isager didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristen Krasmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Nafiz Özilter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompílio Pegacho in the 39th minute of play forced Bornova's goalkeeper Sonny Alén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hvam FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stuparu Chyba hit a great ball. Fernando Dracena shot from long distance in the 42nd minute, but Kristen Krasmer was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stephan Isager to strike the kick off in the second half. Beyhan Oğuztüzün kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Kristen Krasmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamil Momodu in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Hvam FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Nafiz Özilter came free, but Kristen Krasmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fernando Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Alén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephan Isager in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Kamil Momodu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristen Krasmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yusuf Bahadır Rahmet kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Sonny Alén came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Hvam FC's Stephan Isager. But to his dismay, Stephan Isager quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sonny Alén made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ataol Toprak sent off a good shot on target. Sonny Alén didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 83rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. In the 88th minute Bruno Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sonny Alén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristen Krasmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kamil Momodu in the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Hvam FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ataol Toprak hit a great ball. The Hvam FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
