Marios Sabanis came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan. But to his dismay, Gong Qi Fan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marios Sabanis came out of the goal and Gong Qi Fan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute, Gong Qi Fan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gong Qi Fan made a kick off. Marios Sabanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gong Qi Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthis Paelemans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils Elmhuus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Playa Malvín's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Playa Malvín walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
