With an all-out effort, Csabagyöngye's Giacomo Casanova threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Róbert Dömötör, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Egil Sjögren struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Tobias Reuters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montesacro FC. In the 13th match minute, Montesacro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errikos Tsirigopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Egil Sjögren scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobias Reuters, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobias Reuters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Sjögren in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 minutes Csabagyöngye's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paolo Rossi who took care of the corner kick. Giacomo Casanova made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gergely Dobi sent off a good shot on target. Tobias Reuters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loco Palermo in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the match Montesacro FC got a corner. Csabagyöngye's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paolo Rossi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Csabagyöngye's Gergely Dobi got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Reuters was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tobias Reuters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egil Sjögren's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute of the match, Gergely Dobi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giacomo Casanova was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 44th minute, Egil Sjögren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montesacro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 47 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Fabelo. After the first half Montesacro FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Fabelo made a kick off. Giacomo Casanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Fabelo in the 55th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Róbert Dömötör shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egil Sjögren got free with Tobias Reuters in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Reuters made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Egil Sjögren sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Reuters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Egil Sjögren might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Reuters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Egil Sjögren ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Csabagyöngye's Tobias Reuters got control of the ball when Egil Sjögren tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 minutes of play, Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Reuters was left in no man's land by his defense there! Loco Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Reuters having to interfere. Gabriel Fabelo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giacomo Casanova. Giacomo Casanova dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 96th minute, Gabriel Fabelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Csabagyöngye fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Montesacro FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
