Spectators: 184 (Terracing: 139, Seating: 42, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Loco Palermo started the match with the kick off. If Svend Betz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svend Betz in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match FSX UNITED got a corner. Montesacro FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Åke Kvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Montesacro FC's goalie and right to Evelio Matetich. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Montesacro FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Giacomo Casanova came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FSX UNITED's Svend Betz. But to his dismay, Svend Betz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Giacomo Casanova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svend Betz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loco Palermo got free with Ye Wei in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Svend Betz came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Skoglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Svend Betz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, FSX UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Kvist to maneuver through the defense. FSX UNITED's Ye Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Palermo in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Svend Betz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giacomo Casanova. Svend Betz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. FSX UNITED's Thomas Cochrane was substituted for Evelio Matetich. Ye Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Sjögren in the 64th minute of the match. The Montesacro FC fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Errikos Tsirigopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesacro FC's protests and gave Errikos Tsirigopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zebastian Spets. In the 86th minute of the match, Amancio Baesler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Giacomo Casanova was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Amancio Baesler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Giacomo Casanova made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Giacomo Casanova successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With an all-out effort, FSX UNITED's Giacomo Casanova threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amancio Baesler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 92nd minute Amancio Baesler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giacomo Casanova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Salas in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when Montesacro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Sjögren didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova got control of the ball when Amancio Baesler tried to sneak it across the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Salas came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Amancio Baesler sped through Montesacro FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giacomo Casanova. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FSX UNITED walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
