Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfred Klawki started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Legia Stavanger's Humberto Passos got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute Gjermund Viste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bath Boyce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bath Boyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Klawki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes of play, Legia Stavanger's Gjermund Viste made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bath Boyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benny Atkin hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jason Sperling thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Bath Boyce, a very annoying self made goal in the 23rd minute which led to 0-2. After 26 minutes of play, Legia Stavanger's Alfred Klawki made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bath Boyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gjermund Viste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Long Worsley hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Legia Stavanger were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alfred Klawki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Bath Boyce when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Nicolae Ciorogaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, Legia Stavanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Ciorogaru to maneuver through the defense. When Ned Mills came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Boroondara Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ned Mills couldn't finish the play. Bath Boyce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gjermund Viste, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Alfred Klawki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Bath Boyce made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Boroondara Milan's Ned Mills got a free kick in the 71st minute. Legia Stavanger's Abelardo Alonso was substituted for Deivid Capixaba. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Klawki got free with Bath Boyce in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boroondara Milan's Jason Sperling got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Daniel Skulstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Sperling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bath Boyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Turi in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 played minutes Boroondara Milan got a freekick which was hit by Drake Sobczak. Jason Sperling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Klawki got free with Bath Boyce in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Legia Stavanger could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boroondara Milan throughout the match.
