In the 35thth minute of the game Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pombal 2003 F.C.'s Luiz Fabiano de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 37 minutes, Anier Chano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1947 FC and the Pombal 2003 F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, 1947 FC's Luiz Fabiano de Lima threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jeremias Stephen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Enmanuel hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Romeo Mircescu made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by 1947 FC's Metehan Kahya. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 1947 FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
