In the 17th match minute, De Kwakel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Menno van der Doelen to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcial Munio in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freek Veldkamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the De Kwakel FC defense, Marcial Munio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Freek Veldkamp. The De Kwakel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Freek Veldkamp should have stopped the shot. San Martin de Tucuman's Marcial Munio got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeroen Maasland kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The De Kwakel FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Martin de Tucuman were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin van Asseldonk was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Munio got free with Freek Veldkamp in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. San Martin de Tucuman's Pipis Vattimos was substituted for Effiong Adebiyi. In the 67th minute, Nick Enting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, one of De Kwakel FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for De Kwakel FC. De Kwakel FC:s Freek Veldkamp showed great skill when he stopped Anastasio Amesti:s penalty. San Martin de Tucuman made a substitution. When the match was over San Martin de Tucuman could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than De Kwakel FC throughout the match.
