An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Leite in the 12th minute of play forced Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Tristan Franquis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Adrio Sobrido managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrio Sobrido was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Leite was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feng Chuan Liang during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tristan Franquis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Talha İstanbul, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Cöpacabana FC's Dagoberto Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Rainerio in the 54th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Cöpacabana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Brudnicki to maneuver through the defense. When Fernan Erus came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Erus couldn't finish the play. Fernan Erus might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dagoberto Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernan Erus ran back to his position shaking his head.
