Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Bakker started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Amar Bouziane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaetano Mathieu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaetano Mathieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Moneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Bakker came free, but Tristan Franquis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Freddy Sabin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Tristan Franquis. Tristan Franquis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute, Matías Hendrickx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bruno Moneda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gaetano Mathieu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Moneda in the 19th minute of play forced Resistencia's goalkeeper Gaetano Mathieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bruno Moneda, in the 20th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara. Gaetano Mathieu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Bruno Moneda. But to his dismay, Bruno Moneda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 28th minute Hugo Bakker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Franquis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaetano Mathieu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Moneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Bruno Moneda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resistencia's Gaetano Mathieu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Hugo Bakker got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tristan Franquis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 35th minute Bruno Moneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaetano Mathieu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 played minutes Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a freekick which was hit by Feng Chuan Liang. After 37 played minutes Imperio Catatumbo de Lara got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Rainerio. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Tristan Franquis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Sabin came free, but Tristan Franquis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Moneda made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Resistencia's Hugo Bakker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tristan Franquis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrio Sobrido in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaetano Mathieu saved Resistencia from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Moneda in the 63rd minute of play forced Resistencia's goalkeeper Gaetano Mathieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Franquis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Sabin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bruno Moneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Moneda in the 71st minute of play forced Resistencia's goalkeeper Gaetano Mathieu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaetano Mathieu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Moneda in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Tristan Franquis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the last second Gaetano Mathieu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bruno Moneda in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara made a substitution. Edilberto Sanes replaced Feng Chuan Liang. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Mümtaz Teren was substituted for Bruno Moneda. In the 79th minute Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were awarded a corner. Braulio Castulo went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Sabin in the 82nd minute of play forced Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper Tristan Franquis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Tristan Franquis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Sabin in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hugo Bakker was slow to take the kick. During this time Resistencia's players had a chance to rest. Resistencia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Silvio Rainerio scored to the left of an out of position Gaetano Mathieu, making the score, 1-2. Bonifaco Barril made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Resistencia's Genaro Illan. Hugo Bakker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Resistencia's much stronger midfield.
