When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Gustavo Bou took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Spyros Renieris to make any attempt to save it. A sloppy throw-in by Hugon Wielopolski in the 11th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by GOD OF WAR's Walmyr Severo. Emanuel Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Bertoglio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GOD OF WAR were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after FC Bonin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. David Fågel took the corner. After taking down the ball on GOD OF WAR's corner David Fågel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuel Pinho quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute, Facundo Bertoglio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Pinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Facundo Bertoglio took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Pinho. Emanuel Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Emanuel Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Bertoglio in the 25th minute of play. Emanuel Pinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Bertoglio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Facundo Bertoglio scored 1-3 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Wasyl Harasimowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Spyros Renieris came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Bonin's Gustavo Bou. But to his dismay, Gustavo Bou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in GOD OF WAR's zone, Gojko Bešlić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spyros Renieris came out of the goal and Gojko Bešlić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vassilis Drambas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Facundo Bertoglio managed to get in a good position for a shot. GOD OF WAR's supporters rose to their feet, but Facundo Bertoglio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Pinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Facundo Bertoglio might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Pinho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Bertoglio ran back to his position shaking his head. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Bertoglio couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
