Facundo Bertoglio scored 1-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rubén Urruti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Facundo Bertoglio took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Rubén Urruti to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

GOD OF WAR's attentive Cássio Paes managed to snatch the ball when Isidoro Gimenez made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game.
