Kurt Ekberg stood somewhat misplaced when Anier Ted came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. 12 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Ted came free, but Kurt Ekberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anier Ted who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Kurt Ekberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 19th minute of the match IFK Gladdarna got a corner. Aston Birra F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frans Koopmans ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Pinto got free with Kurt Ekberg in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Ted in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, IFK Gladdarna's goalkeeper Kurt Ekberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anier Ted. Ciro Azofra hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Koch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Gladdarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anier Ted was slow to take the kick. During this time Aston Birra F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Anier Ted almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg did a great save. Anier Teds short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Kurt Ekberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Gladdarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anier Ted was slow to take the kick. During this time Aston Birra F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ciro Azofra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kurt Ekberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Aston Birra F.C. booed when IFK Gladdarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anier Ted who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Kurt Ekberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the IFK Gladdarna defense, Anier Ted kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurt Ekberg. The IFK Gladdarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurt Ekberg should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anier Ted got free with Kurt Ekberg in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Aston Birra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Koch came free, but Luciano Sanchez-Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anier Ted made a kick off. IFK Gladdarna's Martin Sundin was substituted for Emil Trulsson. IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Ted in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Silvestre Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Aston Birra F.C.'s Luciano Sanchez-Garcia got control of the ball when Martin Sundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Sundin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Sanchez-Garcia. That made the score 3-1 in the 62 minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ciro Azofra got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 4-1. 71 minutes into the match. Aston Birra F.C. made a substitution. Santiago Ascacíbar replaced Ciro Azofra. IFK Gladdarna's Kurt Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Ted in the 89th minute of play. Kurt Ekberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Blasi in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, IFK Gladdarna's Frans Koopmans got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Luciano Sanchez-Garcia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eugeniusz Cichewski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 95 minute of play. IFK Gladdarna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
