Evert Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mincho Lyutakov, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute, Filiph Hedkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, CSKA Dobravi's Marian Madolev got control of the ball when Gert Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Erik Ljungberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Gert Carlsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Marian Madolev when he managed to save the team from getting behind. CSKA Dobravi's Marian Madolev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Braniște in the 45th minute of play. Arne Jonasson took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Madolev. Marian Madolev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in CSKA Dobravi's zone, Arne Jonasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marian Madolev came out of the goal and Arne Jonasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marian Madolev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Mincho Lyutakov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Gert Carlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Madolev was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Carlsson in the 63rd minute of play forced CSKA Dobravi's goalkeeper Marian Madolev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Lions's Filiph Hedkvist got a free kick in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zahari Chalyovski got free with Evert Mellberg in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, The Lions's Evert Mellberg got control of the ball when Zahari Chalyovski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in CSKA Dobravi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! In the 79th minute there was a penalty for The Lions. Arne Jonasson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marian Madolev. 2-0. After 81 played minutes CSKA Dobravi got a freekick which was hit by Filcho Krotev. Marian Madolev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Carlsson in the 82nd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, The Lions's goalkeeper Evert Mellberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yanaki Vúlchov. 88 minutes into the match, Zahari Chalyovski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Evert Mellberg, 2-1. CSKA Dobravi's Marian Madolev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Jonasson in the 92nd minute of play. Gert Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CSKA Dobravi's Petko Pavlevchev got a free kick in the 95th minute. Marian Madolev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iustin Braniște's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. After 99 minutes, Arne Jonasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Lions and the CSKA Dobravi players grew even worse after the yellow card. CSKA Dobravi's Lyudmil Vidolov was substituted for Tzvetan Dudov. In the 100th minute, Arne Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the CSKA Dobravi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Lions.
