Sheldon Cooper's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Kerville read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Damiano Melfi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Chaptal, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Sheep United's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Chaptal came free, but Damiano Melfi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shoval Diggs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Shoval Diggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Antonio Parra in the 24th minute of play. Davide Talone hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elderslie Magpies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Antonio Parra was slow to take the kick. During this time Sheep United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sheep United's corner José Antonio Parra fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Kerville quite easily take care of the ball. In the 34th minute of the match, Steven Chaptal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damiano Melfi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shoval Diggs made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Sheep United were awarded a corner. José Antonio Parra made a great header on Sheep United's corner, it was just that Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville managed to reach the ball for a save. Christian Kerville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shoval Diggs in the 54th minute. If Sheldon Cooper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, José Antonio Parra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheep United's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Antonio Parra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Sheep United's Shoval Diggs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shoval Diggs in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Kerville saved Elderslie Magpies from getting behind. After having played for 78 minutes, Ovidio Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elderslie Magpies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidio Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ralph Gorham kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Christian Kerville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Levi Schaap in the 83rd minute. In the 89th minute, Elderslie Magpies's Arty Behla seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arty Behla the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Elderslie Magpies protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arty Behla had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The score was 0-3 after a penalty in the 91st minute, where Sheep United:s José Antonio Parra tricked Elderslie Magpies:s Christian Kerville with a difficult ball by the left post. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when Sheep United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Talone didn't get a good kick on the ball. Levi Schaap hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Ovidio Etxekopar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Damiano Melfi. Sheep United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sheep United played a much better game than Elderslie Magpies and deserved their victory. The Elderslie Magpies players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
