Pran Labitte scored 0-2 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erling Jeilman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Emilio Cascajares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Emilio Cascajares might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erling Jeilman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Cascajares ran back to his position shaking his head. Erling Jeilman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emilio Cascajares, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Cascajares in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erling Jeilman saved FC Drik from getting behind. After 28 minutes, Kenni Embro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Drik and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Emilio Cascajares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erling Jeilman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 31st minute Emilio Cascajares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Jeilman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiberiu Balint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Erling Jeilman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Cascajares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erling Jeilman having to make a save. Erling Jeilman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Cascajares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Cascajares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Jeilman having to interfere. Emilio Cascajares took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erling Jeilman. Erling Jeilman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 42 minutes into the game, Emilio Cascajares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. October 04's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Drik the free kick. The supporters of FC Drik booed when October 04 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Cascajares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregor Billund kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, October 04's Emilio Cascajares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erling Jeilman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svenaage Lisner was the one to do the kick off. When Kenni Embro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. In the 54th match minute, FC Drik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenni Embro to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as October 04's Emilio Cascajares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erling Jeilman. That made the score 0-8 after 56 minutes of play. Erling Jeilman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Cascajares went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-9 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the match, Emilio Cascajares notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of FC Drik's Erling Jeilman. Erling Jeilman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emilio Cascajares took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erling Jeilman. FC Drik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Cascajares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. With an all-out effort, October 04's Erling Jeilman threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Emilio Cascajares, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 82 minutes, Pran Labitte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. October 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pran Labitte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Emilio Cascajares came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the October 04 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Cascajares couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Emilio Cascajares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erling Jeilman. The goal made the score 0-14.
